Day One (Thursday)

Arrival at Cairo and meet by TRAVOR representative at the airport, the representative will help you with the visa procedures.

Transfer to the hotel, the representative will assist you with a smooth check-in and overnight.

Day Two (Friday)

First part of the morning, breakfast and the visits begin with the visit of THE PYRAMIDS OF THE GUIZA PLATEAU: KHUFU, KHAFRE and MENKAURE, the only wonders of Antiquity that are still standing. The pyramids of Giza occupy a prominent place in the list of the greatest tourist attractions on the planet. 

Also, we visit the CELEBRE SPHINX and its SOLAR TEMPLE. The enigmatic sphinx has a height of about 20 meters and a little over 70 meters in length, it is endowed with a human head and a lion’s body, something that for the ancient Egyptians brought together intelligence and strength in the same figure.

(optional, for an additional cost).THE GREAT EGYPTIAN MUSEUM (GEM) , the largest archaeological museum in the world dedicated to a single civilization. The structure will be just 2 kilometers from the three pyramids of Giza.

The show depicts the story of the Sphinx who has been the vigilant guardian of the city of the dead for 5000 years. Day Three (Saturday) 

Breakfast and transfer to Cairo airport to take the flight to Luxor.

Arrival in Luxor, meet and assist by the representative of TRAVOR.

Transfer to the West Bank to discover the following fantastic visits:

Firstly, we visit the mysterious VALLEY OF THE KINGS , this great necropolis contains more than 60 tombs of pharaohs and nobles of the New Kingdom, one of the most prosperous periods in the history of ancient Egypt, (the visit includes 3 tombs, the tomb of Tutankhamen is excluded).

Then, we visit the TEMPLE OF HATSHEPSUT known as the Temple of Deir el Bahari, it is an extraordinary monument capable of dazzling its visitors. It was designed by the architect Sennenmut . It is dedicated to Hatshepsut, the only woman to reign in Egypt for a long period. The temple has a part excavated in the rock and another area on the outside formed by three terraces.

To finish the West Bank, we visit the ruins of the GIANT COLOSSI OF MEMNON, they are two statues that represent the pharaoh Amenhotep III and that were built to preside over his mortuary temple on the west bank of the Nile. They were built 3,400 years ago and show the pharaoh in a relaxation pose, with his hands resting on his knees and his gaze on the rising sun.

Transfer to the cruise, check in and lunch.

Afternoon, transfer to the East Bank to visit the LUXOR TEMPLE, it is one of the most spectacular temples in Egypt and the most important monument in Luxor and is dedicated to Amon (god of wind). It was built by the pharaohs Amenhotep III and Ramses II, the former built the inner part and Ramses II the outer enclosure, adding the façade, the colossi and the obelisks.

Back to the cruise, dinner and overnight on board.

Day Four (Sunday) 

Breakfast and transfer to the East Bank to visit the KARNAK TEMPLE, dedicated to the worship of the god Amon of Thebes, the largest temple complex in the world. For centuries, this place was the most influential Egyptian religious center. There was also a sacred lake, numerous smaller temples and chapels, and multiple rooms and warehouse located within the walls that surrounded the main enclosure.

Back to the cruise and lunch. Sailing to Edfu.

Dinner and overnight on board.

Day Five (Monday) 

Breakfast on board and transfer in horse carriages to the TEMPLE OF EDFÚ, dedicated to the god Horus , it is the largest after the Temple of Karnak and one of the best preserved in the country. The walls of the temple have rich inscriptions that provide important information about the time of its construction, providing details not only about the temple, but also about mythology, religion and the way of life in Ancient Egypt.

Back to the cruise and lunch.

Enjoy the boat and relax while sailing towards Kom Ombo.

Afternoon, arrival at Kom Ombo and transfer on foot to visit the KOM OMBO TEMPLE and the CORCODILO MUSEUM , built under the orders of Ramses II , the only one dedicated to two divinities: the gods Sobek and Horus the Elder , and consists of two entrances, two hypostyle rooms and two exactly the same sanctuaries. In the Kom Ombo temple you can visit the Hathor chapel and see crocodile mummies, clay coffins and spectacular wall reliefs.

Back to the cruise and sail to Aswan, one of the most popular cities in Egypt.

Day Six (Tuesday) 

(optional, for an additional cost)  TEMPLE OF ABU SIMBEL .

Early morning, picnic breakfast and transfer by road to visit the The Abu Simbel temple, a complex made up of two rock-cut temples, one of which is dedicated to Ramses II and the other to Nefertari, his first and favorite wife. The complex is made up of two temples. The Great Temple to the deified gods Ra-Horakty, Ptah and Ramses II, and the Lesser Temple to the goddess Hathor and Queen Nefertari. The temple has four seated colossi flanking the entrance, two on each side, representing Ramses II on his throne. Beneath these gigantic figures are smaller statues representing Ramses’ conquered enemies. There are more statues representing various family members and some protective gods and symbols of power. Passing between the two colossi, one accesses the interior of the temple, which is decorated with engravings showing Ramses and Nefertari paying homage to the gods.

After this fascinating visit, back to the cruise and have lunch.

Then, take a private ride on a FELUCCA, a traditional Egyptian sailboat, along the Nile River. While navigating the Nile you will be able to see Elephantine Island, an ivory trade center (one of the oldest), Kitchener’s Island, with a magnificent botanical garden.

Back to the cruise, dinner and overnight on board.

Day Seven (Wednesday) 

Breakfast and departure to visit THE TEMPLE OF PHILAE or as it is known as The Pearl of the Nile, dedicated to the goddess Isis , goddess of love . The temple located on a separate island in the Nile River, where, according to the myth, the goddess Isis took refuge and rebuilds her beloved  Osiris from her  when  he was  killed by her brother and dismembered distributing her parts by the whole country. After the construction of the  Aswan dam, the temple was submerged in the water of the Nile and thanks to a UNESCO proposal  ,  recovering thousands of artifacts that were underwater and moving stone by stone to its current location, the Agilkia Island .

On the island you can see several buildings, among which the imposing  Temple dedicated to Isis stands out , although you can also see other buildings of great value such as the  Temple of Hathor , the Trajan Gate , or the pylons that are at the entrance of the complex.

Then, visit the ASWAN HIGH DAM, one of the most important engineering mega-constructions of the 20th century. This gigantic building is 111 m high, 3.5 km long and approximately 1 km wide. After its construction was completed, the area behind the dam was flooded with water and became Lake Nasser and is considered the largest man-made lake in the world.

After finishing this amazing day tour, transfer to Aswan airport to take the flight back to Cairo.

Arrival in Cairo and meet by the representative of TRAVOR.

(optional, for an additional cost) Transfer to enjoy KHAN EL-KHALILI, the most famous market in Cairo. Walking through its labyrinthine streets is like visiting a real open-air museum. It is the perfect place to buy souvenirs and reproductions of Ancient Egyptian objects.

Day Eight (Thursday) 

Breakfast and transfer to the airport with the representative of TRAVOR to take the departure flight to the origin.

In Saqqara we visit other small pyramids such as THE FUNERAL COMPLEX OF UNAS AND THE PYRAMID OF TETI, along with the tombs of some nobles and prestigious rulers who almost reach the level of KAGEMNY .

Our last stop of the day will be to MEMPHIS , the ancient and first capital of Upper and Lower Egypt. The city was founded by Narmer, the first pharaoh of Egypt.

Back to the hotel for the overnight.

Day Three (Wednesday)

Breakfast and transfer to Cairo airport to take the flight to Aswan.

Arrival in Aswan and meet by the representative of TRAVOR.
